The process for preparing the deceased for burial is called Taharah, or purification. ​​If you need a Taharah, please contact the Chevra Kadisha of Northern New Mexico central hotline 575-418-3618, or the organization in the list to the right that is appropriate for your family.

Our Chevra Kadisha depends solely on volunteers, and are always ready to welcome those who would like to participate. We would be happy to talk with you about:
